AGRICULTURE
SoutniYo’s agriculture program provides sustainable aid to local farmers in Fond Des Blancs. With your support, farmers will have the ability to produce natural organic foods to support their families and build a sustainable model to support educational programs in their community.
EDUCATION
Children from their community must travel dangerous terrain to get to school. SoutniYo’s goal is to build a school for students K-12 in a safe environment. The revenue through our farm-funded program will provide sustainable support to our school.
HOUSING AND ROAD DEVELOPMENT
Housing and lack of roadways are crucial to any community. Due to the lack of resources in that region, homes in Fond Des Blancs are made mostly of straw and hay. With your support, Soutniyo’s will help rebuild the most destitute homes in their community. SoutniYo will also provide assistance in improving roadways in their community. This will allow the community to have access to nearby areas in order to improve their lives. Tractor equipment is needed to support this specific cause.
HEALTH AND COMMUNITY BUILDING
Our teams of volunteers in Haiti conduct monthly meetings to assess the needs of their community. Maintaining dialogue with the community is an important part of SoutniYo’s partnership. Our goal is to provide educational health workshops and learning programs in order to better improve their lives in Fond Des Blancs.
